Danni Lawrence-Cohen

Danni Lawrence-Cohen is a dedicated social work professional with extensive experience in various clinical settings and the cannabis industry. Currently serving as a Clinical Social Work Intern at the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender since September 2024, Danni has previously held roles such as Wellness Associate at The Apothecarium and Clinical Social Work Intern at Monte Nido & Affiliates. Danni's background includes providing emotional support and leading therapy sessions for clients with eating disorders at multiple treatment centers, as well as conducting client interviews and creating mitigation reports for the Colorado State Public Defender's Office. Danni's educational journey includes studies in Clinical Mental Health, Addiction Counseling, and Psychology, with a Master of Social Work in progress at Rutgers University, along with degrees from Fordham University, the University of Denver, and Guilford College.
