Deanna Mendez

Deanna Mendez has extensive experience in educational and support roles, currently serving as a Direct Support Professional and one-to-one aide at Pillar Care Continuum since January 2023, while also working as a Direct Support Professional with Open Arms of New Jersey since September 2022. Previous positions include driving for Uber, providing stress support with The Arc of Bergen and Passaic Counties, and serving as an ABA Therapist/Special Education Teacher at North Jersey Outreach. Deanna has held teaching roles at The Gramon Family of Schools and other educational institutions, complemented by a strong academic background including a Master of Arts in Teaching from Montclair State University and ongoing studies at Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
