Andrea Gálvez Bresó

Andrea G. is a PhD student at Università degli Studi di Trieste, focusing on research concerning the Paleogene Mass-Transport Deposits of the Julian-Slovenian Basins, specifically investigating emplacement mechanisms and tsunamigenic potential. Previous roles include researcher on geological surveys for the CARG ISPRA project, as well as owning a business specializing in children's clothing representation. Andrea has also worked as a geologist conducting geophysical and topographic surveys, and served as a site manager for geophysical and geognostic investigations. Research internships were completed at the Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam and the Icelandic Institute of Natural History, where involvement included sample collection and data analysis. Educational background includes a Master's Degree in Geology from Università degli Studi di Padova.
