Lisa Matye Edwards currently serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs at Arapahoe Community College since May 2015 and is also involved with the Aspen Fellowship for Aspiring Community College Presidents at The Aspen Institute since July 2019. Prior to these roles, Lisa held the position of Vice President for Student Success at Lower Columbia College from August 2010 to May 2015, and spent a decade at the University of Denver in various capacities related to academic advising, student orientation, and special projects from 2000 to 2010. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Student Activities and Sexual Assault Education Coordinator at Grinnell College, and as Membership Manager at the Association of Washington Business. Lisa earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education & Student Affairs Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado and holds a Master's Degree in Student Personnel Administration from Western Washington University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Puget Sound.
