Michele Castiglioni

Michele Castiglioni is a Senior Analyst at the Government Actuary's Department since August 2023 and serves as a Junior Aspen Fellow at The Aspen Institute from October 2019. Previous experience includes a role as a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute from September 2020 to August 2022 and a consultancy position at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in 2012-2013, focusing on Economic Cooperation, Trade, and Land Management. Michele holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy Analysis from Università Bocconi (2014-2019) and has been a visiting researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (October 2016 - June 2017) and the University of Cambridge (2010-2011). Additional academic credentials include a Master of Science in Philosophy of the Social Sciences from The London School of Economics and Political Science (2011-2012) and a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Università di Pavia (2006-2011).
