Jasmine Ashurst

Jasmine Ashurst is a Programme Officer at The Association of Commonwealth Universities, specializing in scholarship administration for the Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships and the Ocean Country Partnership Programme Scholarships since October 2023. Previously, Jasmine supported Commonwealth scholars in pursuing postgraduate studies in the UK as a Programme Officer for the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, where responsibilities included liaison with scholars and universities, financial administration, and collaboration on the CSC's magazine. Jasmine's diverse experience also includes roles as Operations Assistant and Lifeguard across multiple organizations, including Everyone Active, The University of Edinburgh Sport & Exercise, and University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness, which enhanced time management, teamwork, and leadership skills. Jasmine holds a Master of Science in Africa and International Development from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Birmingham, complemented by Erasmus studies in France and Portugal.
