Ruth Louise McConnell

Ruth Louise McConnell is an experienced educational professional currently serving as Programme Manager (Policy) at The Association of Commonwealth Universities since December 2017, where previous positions included Senior International Programme Officer and International Liaison Officer. Prior experience includes managing customized faculty-led programs in the UK for AIFS, and roles such as Student Welfare Officer and EFL Teacher at LILA*, and Resident Life Assistant at New York University’s London campus. Ruth has also worked internationally, including as an ESL Teacher for the Seoul Ministry of Education, and held teaching positions at Liverpool International Language Academy and the British Council. Ruth holds a Master of Arts in TESOL from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Popular Music from the University of Liverpool.
