Maribel Perez

Maribel assists the Vice President for Development, Mr. Nic Taunton '07 as he leads all fundraising efforts, including the Annual Fund to endowed and capital giving programs, as well as all marketing and creative services for The Association. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a B.S. in Sport Management and two minors, Business Administration and International and Cultural Management. She is a native Houstonian, a first generation college graduate and Aggie...whoop! While at Texas A&M, she participated in multiple organizations and had the opportunity to study abroad in Bonn, Germany one summer, which further sparked her interest in sports and travel. Following graduation and prior to joining The Association in 2020, she had the opportunity to work for 3 of Houston's major professional sports teams including the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, and the Houston Texans. In her personal time, you can find her participating in CrossFit workouts, serving in a local faith and fitness community, and as a committee member for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
