Emily Gottschalk-Marconi

Emily Gottschalk-Marconi is an experienced professional in newsroom operations and organizational management, currently serving as Chief of Staff and Director of Newsroom Operations at The Atlantic since May 2016. Prior roles at The Atlantic include Director of Newsroom Operations, Associate Director of Operations, and Event Manager. Prior to this, Emily worked at the Democratic National Committee as Manager of Special Projects and Special Assistant to the COO. Experience also includes serving as Special Assistant to the COO at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and as Staff Assistant in the Office of Management & Administration at The White House. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from William & Mary.
