Sara Follin

Sara Follin, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sara is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Austin Board of REALTORS® since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Flex from April 2022 to December 2022. From May 2016 to March 2022, they held the position of HR Manager at Texas Association of School Boards. Before that, they worked as an HR Generalist at Hospice Austin from November 2012 to May 2016. Sara began their career as an HR Assistant at Austin American-Statesman, where they worked from 2007 to 2011. Sara also gained experience working at the University of Houston as part of the Career Services and Library Special Collections teams from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they served as a Corps Member, Administrative Assistant, Training Coordinator, and Team Leader at AmeriCorps from 1995 to 2001.

Sara Follin, PHR received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University, which they completed between 2011 and 2013. Prior to their master's degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Africana Studies from the University of Houston, which they earned between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, they are a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in June 2014.
