Heather Sassone

Heather Sassone is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, community service, and marketing. Currently serving as a Deacon at The Austin Stone Community Church since May 2023, Heather previously worked as a Homeschool Teacher at Grace World Academy from June 2017 to April 2021 and co-directed Friendship International of Austin from September 2014 to May 2017, where responsibilities included coordinating programs and emceeing events. Heather's marketing expertise was further developed in roles such as Client Success Director at Bazaarvoice and Marketing Coordinator at Provenio Group Inc., focusing on client engagement and marketing strategy. Earlier experiences also include teaching and orphan care in India, and membership development for the Girl Scouts Lone Star Council. Heather holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Christian University, earned in 2002.
