Dimple Sood

Dimple Sood is a Research Officer with ACER India.

Prior to that, she worked as a consultant Subject Matter Expert Science for seven months with ACER India. As an SME in Science, she was involved in conducting workshops on item writing and panelling for different projects.

Dimple has over 21 years of experience in teaching biology to secondary school learners. For around 16 years, she taught at Delhi Public School, Rohini and then 5 years at Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok. She has been actively involved in the capacity building of teachers in pedagogy and assessment in science. As a subject and class coordinator, she was also involved in reviewing lesson plans, assessment papers, designing and transacting formative and summative assessments, interdisciplinary projects, competitions and exhibitions.

She was among the panel of authors for ‘Excel in Science’ published by Sangam Books and distributed by Orient Blackswan Limited for grades 6 -8. As a mentor teacher for the environment council of DPS, Sushant Lok, she contributed to the plan and environmental initiatives undertaken by students.
