Jennifer Schafer

Jennifer Schafer is a highly experienced medical professional and leader, currently serving as the Board Chair and Board Member at Brisbane North PHN since November 2019. Jennifer also holds the position of Medical Director at Doctors' Health in Queensland since May 2021 and works as a Clinical Trials Physician at Wesley Medical Research since January 2018. With a strong background in general practice, Jennifer has served as a General Practitioner at various institutions, including headspace and QUT Medical Centre. Jennifer's academic contributions include roles as Director of Student Affairs and Director of the Medicine Program at the UQ Faculty of Medicine, alongside previous leadership positions within the UQ School of Medicine. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Queensland and executive leadership certificates from QUT and UQ Business School.
