David Concannon MBus(HRM), CPHR, currently serves as a member of the Industry Advisory Group at QUT Business School and as Chief Operations Officer and Head of Insights & Strategy at Employer Branding Australia. With extensive experience in academia, David has coordinated units and taught postgraduate and undergraduate courses at Queensland University of Technology since 2015. Additionally, David has held various roles in the Queensland Department of Education and other organizations, focusing on strategic workforce initiatives, performance analytics, and human resources. An entrepreneur at heart, David successfully managed a hotel in Ireland before moving to Australia. David's educational background includes multiple degrees from QUT, a Diploma from Galway Business School, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Galway.

The Australian HR Institute (AHRI) is the national association representing human resource and people management professionals. We have around 20,000 members from Australia and across the globe.
