Moira Giammatteo has extensive experience in the autism community, serving as a manager at The Autism Community in Action (TACA) and Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) since October 2006. Moira has held multiple roles within TACA, including Manager Conference and Scholarships and Program Manager for the Scholarship and Parent Mentor Program. Prior to this, Moira worked as an Executive Assistant at both NetZero, Inc. and United Online from 1999 to 2002, and as Staff Assistant III at the J. Paul Getty Trust from 1989 to 1999. Moira holds a BA in Humanities from California State University, Northridge, earned between 1983 and 1988.

The Autism Community in Action
Autism is a developmental disability that causes significant social, communication, and behavioral challenges. Because autism is a spectrum disorder, the combination of symptoms and their level of severity varies from person to person.
