Christian Fernandes

Christian Fernandes is an experienced occupational therapist currently serving at The Avenues Transitional Care Center and Kaiser Permanente, both since August 2023. Additionally, Christian is completing fieldwork at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals as a capstone student and has previous experience as a fieldwork II occupational therapy student at Kindred. Christian's earlier roles include working as a peer tutor at Samuel Merritt University, an assistant instructor at Ability Now Bay Area, a behavioral therapist at Butterfly Effects, and a research assistant at the University of California San Diego's Language and Development Lab. Christian's educational background includes a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt University and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from UC San Diego.
