Melanie Hartung

Melanie Hartung has extensive experience in the baking and pastry industry, currently serving as the Pastry Chef at The Bald Head Island Club since June 2020. Prior to this role, Melanie worked as a Baker at Nancy Jo's Homemade Bakery from January 2015 to June 2020, specializing in bagels and cinnamon rolls. From January 2009 to June 2020, Melanie owned and operated Baked Flour, where custom cakes, pastries, and breads were created. Additionally, experience includes a position as a Baker at Crazy Cake Chicks from April 2013 to May 2014, focusing on scratch-made cakes, muffins, brownies, and pies, as well as serving as Child Nutrition Assistant Manager at Brunswick County School from August 2012 to February 2014. Melanie holds a Baking and Pastry Certificate from Brunswick Community College, earned between September 2016 and August 2017.
