Dan Rodricks

Dan Rodricks is an accomplished playwright and actor, known for the play "Baltimore, You Have No Idea," which debuted in December 2022 and was restaged in December 2023, with a second play titled "The Baltimore Docket" in development for winter 2024. As a columnist for The Baltimore Sun since 1979, Rodricks has focused on topics including news, politics, and culture. Additionally, Rodricks authored "Father's Day Creek: Fly Fishing, Fatherhood and the Last Best Place on Earth," and hosts the Roughly Speaking podcast, discussing various societal issues. Teaching as an adjunct professor of journalism at Goucher College in 2023 and previously hosting multiple talk shows on WYPR and WMAR-TV, Rodricks has a robust background in media and journalism, which includes an honorary doctorate from McDaniel College.
