Malcolm Cree CBE serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the General Council of the Bar of England and Wales since August 2017. Prior to this role, Malcolm held the position of Principal Consultant at Catalyze Ltd from March 2016 to July 2017, where the focus was on applying decision science for effective decision-making in complex scenarios. Malcolm's military career spanned from July 2011 to February 2016 as a Rear Admiral in the Royal Navy, overseeing major business change programs as Chief of Staff for the Integrated Change Programme, and managing portfolio and financial planning as Assistant Chief of Staff. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Relations and Security from King’s College London, as well as studies at the College Interarmees de Defense and a Bachelor’s degree in Modern History from the University of Bristol.
