Dr David Sharpe Kc Sc

Dr. David Sharpe KC SC is an accomplished legal professional and mediator, with extensive experience at The Bar of Northern Ireland, where the role of King's Counsel has been held since September 1999. David has also served as a member of the Board of Appeal for Classification at the International Paralympic Committee since July 2020 and has a background in Emergency Medicine from the NHS, where roles up to Locum Consultant level were held until August 1999. Educational qualifications include degrees in Law and Medicine from Queen's University Belfast, a Masters in International Construction Law, an Advanced Diploma in Planning & Environmental Law from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, and a Certificate in Maritime Law from Lloyd's Maritime Academy, among others. As a mediator with the Barrister Mediation Service NI since October 2017, David specializes in various areas such as professional negligence and general commercial disputes.
