John Keers

John Keers is an experienced legal educator and consultant with a strong background in various sectors of law, including Banking Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR). Since September 2011, John has served as the Course Director for the LLM in International Commercial Law and ADR at Ulster University, where responsibilities include lecturing at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. John is also a lecturer at The Bar of Northern Ireland and has held various impactful positions including Chief Product Officer at Future Horizons, Founder of TalkTerms, and Co-Founder of the Consumer Code for Online Dispute Resolution. In addition, John has contributed as a Senior Legal Consultant at Regtick and has extensive mediation experience, having successfully mediated over 90 disputes. An accomplished educator, John holds multiple legal qualifications and is recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
