Shirley Tang

Shirley Tang is a Barrister At Law with experience at The Bar of Northern Ireland since September 2019, serving as junior counsel for both the Muckamore Abbey Hospital Public Inquiry and the UK Covid-19 Public Inquiry. Prior to this, Shirley completed a Pupil Barrister program at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and has held various roles in health management, including Project Manager for the Northern Ireland Maternity Strategy and Programme Manager at the Health and Social Care Board. Additional experience includes service improvement and management roles within the NHS, leading initiatives to enhance patient access to diagnostic services and improve healthcare delivery. Shirley holds multiple degrees, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies from Queen's University Belfast and an MSc in Inter-professional Health and Social Care Management.
