Chevon Corbin

Chevon Corbin is a skilled CAD/GIS Technician and GIS Project Coordinator at The Barbados Light & Power Company Limited, responsible for mapping company assets into an enterprise GIS system while ensuring effective communication with major departments and overseeing data collection and editing by the GIS Team. Prior experience includes serving as an Administrative & Visibility Assistant at the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency, where Chevon contributed to the Caribbean Comprehensive Disaster Management Conference 2017 and monitored the 2014-2024 CDM Strategy. As a volunteer following Hurricanes Maria and Irma, Chevon developed a tracking matrix for donor contributions and introduced new data sharing and visualization methods. Chevon holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from The University of the West Indies, Mona, and an Associates Degree from Combermere School.
