Daniel Levin has worked in various roles in the field of tax counsel and law. Daniel started their career as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2007. Daniel then worked as a Law Clerk at Ropes & Gray LLP in 2008. Later, they joined the same company as an Associate in 2010 and worked there until 2014. In 2014, they joined The Baupost Group as an Associate Tax Counsel and held that position until 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Tax Counsel at The Baupost Group, and in December 2018, they were promoted to the position of Director, Tax Counsel, a role that they currently hold.
Daniel Levin's education history begins with their high school years at Homestead High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1998 to 2002. Afterward, they attended the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2006, obtaining their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Political Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Daniel enrolled at Boston University School of Law, where they pursued a Juris Doctor degree from 2006 to 2009, graduating cum laude. Continuing their education at the same institution, they further specialized in taxation and obtained a Master of Laws degree in Taxation in the year 2010.
