Darren Hughes is the Facilities & Infrastructure Manager at The Bays Healthcare Group. Darren has over 20 years of experience in asset management, horticulture, and security.
Previously, Darren was the Asset Portfolio Planner for the City of Port Phillip from December 2017 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic asset management of Council assets valued at over $2.3B.
Before that, Darren was the Executive Infrastructure & Logistics Manager for Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust from July 2017 to November 2017. As the Executive Infrastructure & Logistics Manager, they were responsible for the management of Horticulture Operations, Assets and Facilities, and all aspects of security systems, infrastructure, and procedures.
Darren Hughes has a diploma of property services (assets & facilities management) from RMIT University. Darren also has an advanced diploma in structural engineering from RMIT University. Darren attended Noble Park Technical College for their education.
They work with Kellie Bamberry - Director of Clinical Services, Gareth James - Manager Support Services and Procurement, and Steve Avery - Chief Finance Officer. Darren Hughes reports to Jade Phelan, Chief Executive Officer.
