Heidi Gettons

Heidi Gettons has over two decades of experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the CSSD Coordinator at The Bays Healthcare Group Inc since November 1999. Throughout their career, Heidi has held various positions including Clinical Data Research Nurse, Registered Nurse, Infection Control Practitioner, CSSD Manager, and Associate Unit Manager. Prior to their current role, Heidi worked as a Registered Nurse at Cairns Base Hospital from March 1992 to September 1998. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from CQUniversity (1990-1992), a Graduate Certificate in Infection Control and Prevention from Griffith University (2006), an accredited Counselling Pre and Post Hepatitis C and HIC Testing course from the University of Melbourne (2006), and additional training from Monash University (2002).
