Santiago Martinez

Santiago Martinez is a Senior Energy Modeler at The Beck Group, specializing in energy performance goals and compliance with various sustainability standards, such as AIA Design for Excellence and LEED. With over a decade of experience in the built environment, Santiago previously worked as a Senior Energy Modeler and Environmental Consultant at TAAGBUILD, focusing on energy consumption calculations and facade optimization. Santiago's experience includes roles at Transsolar KlimaEngineering, where contributions were made to international projects applying climate-responsive design and green building strategies, alongside participation in the Transsolar Academy as the first Mexican participant. Santiago also gained foundational experience as an Energy Modeler at THREE Consultoria Medioambiental and gained early industry exposure through internships at Ternium and Tecnológico de Monterrey. Santiago holds a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Physics from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
