Kirstie Mah

Kirstie Mah has a diverse range of work experience. Kirstie has worked as an Early Childhood Head Teacher at The Berkeley School since August 2017. Prior to that, they were a Head Teacher at Maple Street School from September 2016 to June 2017. Kirstie also worked as a Clinical Social Work Intern at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services from September 2015 to July 2016. Before that, they were a Toddler Teacher at SCO/FirstStep NYC from September 2014 to August 2015. Kirstie's experience also includes being a Sales Associate at Oaklandish from October 2013 to July 2014, a Volunteer at Asian Women's Shelter from September 2013 to July 2014, and a Youth Educator- Americorps Volunteer at the Family Violence Law Center from August 2013 to July 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Head Start Substitute Teacher at the YMCA of the Central Bay Area from February 2013 to August 2013. Kirstie's earlier experience includes being an Extended Care Activity Leader and Substitute Teacher at Redwood Day School from September 2012 to August 2013, as well as a Substitute Teacher at Aquatic Park School from September 2012 to August 2013.

Kirstie Mah's education history begins with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Ethnic Studies from UC San Diego, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, they briefly attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they focused on Ethnic Studies as well. In 2008, Kirstie studied at the Florence University of the Arts, although the specific field of study is unknown. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Merritt College and pursued Child Development studies. Kirstie'seducational journey continued at the Bank Street College of Education from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Infant & Family Development & Early Intervention. During the same period, Kirstie also attended CUNY Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work to obtain a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Clinical Social Work.
