Maxie Brown

Maxie recently retired as the Zoning Administrator in Culpeper, Virginia. She served the Town of Culpeper for 33 years, working as the Zoning Administrator, Assistant Zoning Administrator and Deputy Zoning Administrator. Much of her experience is related to the overseeing, enforcing, administering and interpreting ordinances, plans and projects. Maxie also has a great deal of experience working with elected and appointed officials, boards, commissions and authorities.

Maxie earned an Associate’s Degree at Germanna Community College. She is also a Certified Zoning Administrator (CZA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). Maxie also serves on the Virginia Regional Transit Board of Directors.
