Stan Soper

Stan Soper has extensive work experience in the legal and regulatory field, particularly in the natural products industry. Stan started their career as an Associate at Brett & Daugert in 1991 before joining Holland & Hart LLP as an Associate in 1995. At Holland & Hart, they focused on mergers and acquisitions, business law, real estate, trademarks, and direct selling. In 1997, they became the Chief Legal Officer at Nutraceutical Corporation, where they later held the position of Senior Vice President, International and Chief Legal Officer. In these roles, they oversaw international sales and distribution in over 60 countries and branch operations in three countries, while also managing worldwide legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. In 1999, they co-founded and served as the Vice President of mycounsel.com, a successful legal website for consumers and small businesses. Their role involved raising capital, establishing licensing arrangements, and leading a team of attorneys. Stan then worked as a Business and Regulatory Lawyer at Soper Law from 2020 to 2023, providing legal and regulatory solutions to clients in the natural products industry and assisting with business transactions, international expansion, and compliance. Currently, they serve as the Chief Legal Officer of The Better Being Co., where they oversee legal, regulatory, and quality matters related to premium branded nutritional supplements and cosmetics.

Stan Soper attended Davis High School from 1978 to 1980. Stan then attended Dunwoody High School in 1980-1981. Following that, they earned their B.A. in English from Brigham Young University from 1982-1988. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Law - JD degree from Yale Law School between 1988-1991.
