R. Ryan McElroy

R. Ryan McElroy is the current General Manager at The Big Biscuit. Before that, they were the Manager at TGI Fridays, where they were responsible for effectively managing others and motivating them to work excellence. R. also organized coaches meetings and managed company standards. Additionally, they consistently met financial standards by identifying cost saving solutions and efficiency optimization. Furthermore, they maintained inventory and staffing controls to meet the demands of busy periods. Finally, they understood and stayed ahead of regulations and laws that effect restaurants. Some of their notable accomplishments include increasing guest satisfaction survey rankings from 73% to 85% within 4 months of their start date, negotiating the first company Christmas party hosting a competitor in the restaurant since 2012, and having customer satisfaction surveys be 85% and higher during their scheduled shifts.

After TGI Fridays, Ryan became the General Manager at Galloway Station. From September 2011 to June 2015, they were the Executive Chef / General Manager at Chez Meme Baguette Bistro. In this role, they were in charge of all aspects of the restaurant, from menu development to staff training to financial management. R. successfully increased sales and profits while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Before their career in the food industry, Ryan was a self-employed equity trader from May 2008 to September 2011. During this time, they honed their skills in financial analysis and risk management. R. also developed a strong understanding of the hospitality industry through their work with various restaurants and catering companies.

R. Ryan McElroy is a High School graduate with a degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Whitworth University. R. is also ServSafe Certified and has certification in ServeSafe.
