Chris Hanks

Chris Hanks has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations. Chris currently serves as a Project Director at The Bionetics Corporation since 2021. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Director at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they worked as a Veterinary Medical Officer at FDA in 2018-2019. From 2012 to 2018, Chris held various roles at Sinclair Research, including Senior Staff Veterinarian, Director of Veterinary Services, and Staff Veterinarian/Manager. Chris also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Missouri from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they were a Visiting Research Associate at McNeil Nutritionals in 2005 and an Intern in Microbiology at Baxter Healthcare Corporation in 2000-2001. Chris started their career as an Intern at the Mastology Research Institute- Elliott Mastology Center in 2000.

Chris Hanks has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Delta State University. Chris also holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Mississippi State University. Additionally, they have a Master of Science (MS) degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
