Stuart E. Weidie

Stuart Weidie is the president and chief executive officer of Blossman Gas, Inc. He also serves as the president of the nationwide autogas fueling and vehicle network, Alliance AutoGas, and is the founder of the propane autogas industry coalition AutoGas for America. Alliance AutoGas provides propane autogas for vehicles and lawn care companies in 48 U.S. states and all of Canada. Blossman Gas, Inc. is the managing member. In 2019 alone, Alliance AutoGas displaced 15 million gallons of gasoline and 345K barrels of foreign oil for the 460 fleets it serviced.

Through his work with Alliance AutoGas and Autogas for America, Weidie leads the movement to power America‘s fleets on propane autogas, the world’s most widely used alternative fuel. He holds a B.A. from the University of New Orleans and a master’s degree from the College of William and Mary. Weidie served as Chairman of the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) in 2016-17. He was inducted to the LP Gas Hall of Fame in 2018.

Weidie currently serves as Chairman of the Propane Education and Research Council (PERC).
