Leena Bateson

Leena Bateson is an experienced professional in risk and compliance management, currently serving as SOX Programme Manager at Chubb Fire & Security Group since May 2024. Leena has held the position of Head of IT SOX - Internal Controls at The Body Shop since June 2021, and previously served as Director - Risk & Compliance at Baker Hughes from February 2019 to June 2021. Leena's tenure at Shell spanned from 1998 to 2018, where roles included Senior Information Security SOX Subject Matter Expert and Senior Information Security Manager, focusing on compliance with SOX legislation and managing IT controls. Starting as a Network Engineer and progressing through various IT roles, Leena also holds a 2.1 degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Staffordshire, earned between 1996 and 1999.
