Ben Scarlato

Ben Scarlato has over a decade of work experience in software engineering. Ben most recently worked as a Software Engineer at The Boring Company starting in 2018. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Google from 2013 to 2018. Ben also had a previous role at Google as a Software Engineering Intern in 2013. Ben began their career as a Software Engineer Co-op at Enterasys Networks in 2011. Ben also gained valuable experience as an Intern at the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies from 2009 to 2010.

Ben Scarlato attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they spent the year 2008 to 2009 at Manchester Community College, although no degree or field of study information is available for this period. In addition to their formal education, Ben Scarlato obtained the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC in May 2016 and the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council in July 2016.
