Andy Park is a roboticist currently working at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute, focusing on developing advanced AI-powered mobile manipulation capabilities for robots to function effectively in various human environments. Previously, Andy held positions at KUKA, Rethink Robotics, and Purdue University, where Andy conducted research on whole-body control of humanoid robots and developed motion planning algorithms and control strategies. Andy also worked on motion and force control for climbing robots at the DRC-Hubo Team and contributed to the production of a robotic movie at CELL. Graduating with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering specialized in Robotics from Purdue University, Andy has a solid educational background to support their extensive work in the field.
