Surya Singh

Surya Singh is a Research Scientist at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute, specializing in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence since June 2023. Prior to this role, Surya Singh served as a Senior System Analyst in Robotics Control Research Engineering at Intuitive from January 2020 to June 2023. From August 2011 to January 2020, Surya Singh held the position of Senior Lecturer and Mechatronics Program Director at The University of Queensland, where a Robotics Design Laboratory was founded. Previous academic roles include Research Fellow at the University of Sydney and Visiting Academic & Lecturer at The University of Western Australia. Surya Singh obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, a Master's Degree in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
