Liz Calder joined The Bowdoin Group in September 2021 as the Head of People and Talent, bringing over 12 years of experience in the human capital space. She is responsible for overseeing the critical aspects of employee experience, including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, engagement, and HR admin support.
Prior to The Bowdoin Group, Liz was the Director of Learning and Professional Development at Keystone Strategy, a strategy, economics, and technology consulting firm, headquartered in Boston, MA. Throughout her time at Keystone, she helped develop a learning and development strategy that was focused on four pillars: onboarding and assimilation of new hires, core skills training, leadership development, and knowledge exchange. She worked to design and deliver a curriculum that would enhance the strength and capability of its consulting teams, while focusing on key elements of the employee experience to maintain a culture of transformative ideas. Liz was previously at Suffolk Construction, where she was the Director of Leadership Development, designing and implementing leadership programs for each talent segment in the organization, spanning from entry-level employees to senior leaders.
Liz holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The College of the Holy Cross. In her spare time, Liz loves spending time with her husband, Ken, and two girls, Mia and Tessa.
