Sarah Coon began their work experience in 2003 as a Graphic Designer for freelance projects. In 2008, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Production Manager at FDAnews. In 2010, Sarah moved on to The Bowen Group, initially working as a Graphic Designer before being promoted to the role of Director of Creative Services in June 2013.

Sarah Coon has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a field of study in Art and Visual Technology - Graphic Design from George Mason University. Sarah also holds an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree with a field of study in Photography from Watkins College of Art, Design & Film. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has obtained certifications in "Creating a Design System with Sketch" and "Stay Competitive Using Design Thinking" from LinkedIn in July 2019 and June 2019, respectively.
