CFO and Director of Accounts at The Brass Effect

Suzzen Stroman has been in the finance industry for over 17 years. From 2013 to present, they have been the CFO and Director of Accounts at The Brass Effect, Inc. In this role, they provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives, ensures credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts, and takes a hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system. From 2007 to 2013, they were an IT Procurement Professional at Collin College, where they evaluated suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed, interviewed vendors and visited suppliers' plants and distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, and prices, and attended meetings, trade shows, and conferences to learn about new industry trends and make contacts with suppliers. From 2002 to 2007, they were an Accountant at HUD, where they processed and analyzed financial information from process module and prepared journal entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions, reconciled subsidiary ledgers to the G/L, and assisted customers, vendors and employees with the technical process issues.

Suzzen Stroman obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Organizational Leadership from Warner University between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Organizational Management from Warner University between 2004 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in HCVFinancial Management and Reporting from Nan McKay and Associates.
