Laurence Freed is the Principal at The Brattle Group. Laurence has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Freed began their career at Bear Stearns & Co. in July 1994 as an Equity-Derivatives Product Specialist / Trader. In January 1998, they joined Moody's Investors Service as a VP/Senior Credit Officer. Laurence remained with Moody's until April 2004, when they left to join The Brattle Group.

At The Brattle Group, Freed built and managed a 20-person team focused on providing portfolio risk management, security analytics, and marketing and technology support to a $2bn structured finance fund platform. Laurence left The Brattle Group in November 2007 to join LT Partners, Inc.

Freed has been with LT Partners since 2008 and currently serves as the Principal.

-Laurence Freed did not attend college for a traditional four year degree. Instead, they took selected graduate classes in mathematical finance, probability and stochastic methods at Columbia University.

-Laurence also attended Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs where they received an MIA in Int'l Finance, Economics, and Political Economy.

-Before that, Laurence Freed obtained their BA from Rutgers University in Laurence'story with a minor in Computer Science.

They work with Matthew Aharonian - Principal, Richard Caldwell - Principal, and Matthew P. O'Loughlin - Principal. Their manager is Michael I. Cragg, Principal & Chairman.
