Maiya Pierre

Maiya Pierre, LCSW started her career at The Bridge in 2012 as Program Director of Freymann House, a girls STAR (Short Term Assessment and Respite) home located in West Hartford. She was promoted to Director of Girls Services and directed the three girl STAR homes located in West Hartford, Southington, and Harwinton. Her responsibilities grew to include oversight of the Mosaic Parenting Center and in 2022 she was named Clinical Director of Residential Services.

In May of 2021, Pierre was recognized as one of the 100 Women of Color for her contributions to the field of social work. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut.
