Rebecca Sachdev

Rebecca Sachdev serves as the Executive Director of The Bridge Theatre Training Company since 2007, overseeing daily operations and promoting student recruitment. In addition to this role, Rebecca holds the position of Chairperson for the Board of Trustees at Lara Danceworks since October 2017, and works as a choreographer providing bespoke dance entertainment. As an acupuncturist, Rebecca has operated under the name Rebecca Smedley since 2006. Previous positions include Course Leader and Head of Dance at Jackie Palmer Academy from 2016 to 2023, and Programme Leader for Dance at Amersham & Wycombe College from 2006 to 2014. Educational background includes an MSc in Dance Science from Trinity Laban, and degrees in Acupuncture and Dance from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and Cornish College of the Arts, respectively.
