Andrea Horowitz, LMHC, BC-TMH, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various counseling settings. Currently serving as the Clinician and Owner of Pegasus Mental Health Counseling, PLLC since October 2017, Andrea specializes in relationship counseling, revitalizing partnerships, and supporting couples in recovery from substance use. Additionally, Andrea holds the role of Compliance Program Coordinator at The Brien Center for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Inc. and has facilitated equine-assisted personal growth workshops as an Independent Contractor with RoseWal Farm. Andrea's background includes serving as a supervisor and clinician at The Brien Center, teaching as an Adjunct Professor at The College of Saint Rose, and leading aqua aerobics classes at YMCA of the USA. With a Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Psychology minor from the University at Albany, Andrea has developed a comprehensive skill set in mental health counseling and group facilitation.
