Jenna Brown has a diverse range of work experience in the publishing industry. Jenna began their career at ICM Partners as an Assistant in 2007 before moving on to Bloomsbury, where they held various roles as a Rights Assistant and later as a Rights Executive, responsible for negotiating and selling rights for both US and UK markets. Jenna then joined Watkins Media Limited as a Rights Manager, where they exceeded the yearly Rights Budget and implemented a system to chase overdue Royalty Statements, generating additional revenue. Jenna also represented Watkins at numerous book fairs and established co-publishing agreements with Audible and Recorded Books. Jenna then worked at Tate as an International Rights Manager before joining HOXTON MINI PRESS LIMITED as a Freelance Rights Consultant, where they developed a rights plan and expanded foreign rights sales. Most recently, Jenna worked at The Bright Agency as Contracts & Royalties Manager and later as Deputy Head of Contracts, providing contractual support and processing royalties for various divisions within the agency.
Jenna Brown holds a Master's Degree in Children's Literature, which they obtained from Simmons University between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a specialization in Creative Writing at Central Michigan University from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, in November 2017, they obtained a certification in Emergency First Aid At Work from SIREN.
