Sally Taylor worked as the Head of Equine Health and Operations at the British Horseracing Authority from June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Veterinary Officer at the same company since May 2016. Before joining the British Horseracing Authority, Sally worked as a Veterinary Surgeon at Hampden Veterinary Hospital from July 2005 to April 2016.

Sally Taylor attended the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Veterinary medicine. From 2010 to 2012, they enrolled at the University of Liverpool and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, with a focus on Equine Practice.
