Mithun Randu

Mithun Randu currently serves as the Head of the Department of Physics and a Physics Instructor at The British School in Colombo since August 2022. In addition to teaching, Mithun is the owner of PhysicsIskole, a company focused on supporting students in their Advanced Level examinations through personalized learning and expert guidance. Mithun has held various academic positions, including a Student Researcher at the University of Colombo since February 2018, a Visiting Lecturer in Mathematics at the Australian College of Business and Technology from November 2019 to November 2020, and lecturer roles at Horizon Campus and Sri Lankan Airlines Limited. Mithun's education includes an M.Phil in Astrophysics from the University of Colombo and a Master's degree in Data Science from Cardiff Metropolitan University, in progress since December 2022.
