David Williams

Head Of Biology at The British School of Kuwait

David Williams has a diverse work experience in the fields of education and biomedical research. From 1997 to 2004, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Biomedical Research Centre in Dundee, UK, where they conducted research on the physiological function of MAP kinase phosphatases and various kinase enzymes involved in protein translation. In 2005, David joined The British School of Kuwait as a Biology Teacher, teaching KS2 and KS3 Science, as well as IGCSE and AS/A2 Biology. David also took on additional responsibilities such as developing curriculum, resources, and extracurricular activities. In 2010, they were promoted to Head of Biology, where they continued to teach and further develop resources and curriculum for various courses.

David Williams completed their Bachelor of Science with Honors in Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow, UK, from 1988 to 1993. Following this, they pursued their PhD in Molecular Biology and Virology at the Institute of Virology, also at the University of Glasgow, UK, from 1993 to 1997.
