Rachel Murphy

Rachel Murphy is an experienced educator specializing in Geography, currently serving as a Teacher of Geography at The British School of Kuwait since August 2020. Responsibilities include teaching various curricula from KS3 to A-Level and mentoring Early Career Teachers, as well as supervising the Extended Project Qualification. Prior to this, Rachel held the role of Year 10 Lead (Pastoral) and Head of Geography at Amity International School Abu Dhabi, where duties involved developing department policies, analyzing student progress, and leading fieldwork opportunities. Rachel's teaching journey began at St Cuthbert's Catholic High School, where roles included Geography Teacher and NQT Mentor. Rachel holds a PGCE in Secondary Education from Edge Hill University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Central Lancashire.
