Jesse Chung

Jesse Chung is a skilled attorney currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice at The Bronx Defenders since September 2023. Previously, Jesse gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at The Bronx Defenders and as a Student Advocate in the Criminal Defense and Reentry Clinic at The Legal Aid Society. Early legal experiences include a Summer Law Clerk position at Hennepin Public Defender and a Justice Fellow role at the Equal Justice Initiative. Jesse's volunteer work includes assisting at the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project and contributing to various academic roles while attending Bowdoin College, where Jesse earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Economics, graduating Cum Laude. Jesse holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law, attained in 2023.
